Warriors / Oakland
What happens when a pro athlete, grandmother, comedian, gamer and a super fan walk into a room? Apparently, they play video games together.
At least, that’s what happened on Monday. With the Warriors having a day between games, Harrison Barnes tweeted a challenge to his fans, and #DubNation responded. Soon thereafter, the Warriors’ swingman found himself competing with a diverse array of personalities in NBA 2K16. Among his opponents were:
Blake Anderson – actor/comedian, star of Workaholics, Warriors Fan
Gold Suit Man – Warriors super fan, college student
Darryl “Snake Eyez” Lewis – pro-gamer, Red Bull athlete
Baddie Winkle – Instagram phenom (@baddiewinkle)
Not long afterward, the scene was set. A skilled 2K player, Barnes held his own. He beat Snake Eyez … Baddie Winkle had no shot … neither did Blake. The only one to beat Harrison was none other than Gold Suit Man.
