Latin superstar Sofía Reyes released her new single “Mal De Amores.” She teamed up with global latin music superstar Becky G for the empowering anthem. The music video is perfect for Hispanic Heritage Month with Reyes and Becky G embracing their Latin culture.
“Mal De Amores” follows Sofia Reyes’ hit “Casualidad” with Pedro Capó. Reyes is known for supporting other women in Latin music, so she selected Becky G to feature in “Mal De Amores.” The song blends Latin pop with a proudly Mexican cumbia sound. The song was produced by Andres Torres and Mauricio Rengifo. Reyes and Becky G sing about partying away the heartbreak. The song was written by Sofía Reyes, Andres Torres, Mauricio Rengifo, Becky G and Elena Rose. Their collaboration is a Latina girl power anthem. In the music video, Reyes celebrates being single with Becky G in East L.A. Their beautiful and colorful fashions and dance moves are inspired by Tejana icon Selena Quintanilla. This video was directed by Mike Ho and produced by Vanda Lee.
In June, Reyes released “Casualidad” with Pedro Capó. The music video has over 16 million views on YouTube.
