Carlos Alejandro Budhabhatti / Immigrant Empowerment Foundation
The Immigrant Empowerment Foundation is a non-profit corporation established in 2016, and its purpose is to give 11 Million undocumented immigrants residing in the USA a voice. To accomplish this goal the Immigrant Empowerment Foundation has launched the NO VOTE–MANY VOICES PROJECT. It is estimated that undocumented immigrants have over 55 Million friends and family and research shows that 67% of Americans support a path to citizenship or permanent legal status for undocumented immigrants. These are the MANY VOICES of the undocumented immigrants who have NO VOTE.
The recent public debates and media reports have DEMONIZED 11 Million undocumented immigrants. Through its NO VOTE–MANY VOICES PROJECT, the Immigrant Empowerment Foundation will HUMANIZE these undocumented immigrants. We will do this by sharing the videos that are uploaded to our website and social media platforms, the real life stories of undocumented immigrants and we will empower these undocumented immigrants by educating and informing them on how they can facilitate change, by encouraging their supporters to register to vote and to get out and vote. It is clear, that the undocumented immigrants living in the USA have NO VOTE, but they have MANY VOICES.
