STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Event

Hundreds of parents, children and other family members will be learning side by side at the Families Learning Together STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Event, a one-of-a-kind day of learning featuring parent leaders as the main event facilitators.
Parents team up with the content-area experts to deliver fun, hands-on sessions in both English and Spanish designed to illustrate how parents can reinforce student learning at home.
“Tinkerlabs” will be set up throughout the building where families can complete projects that foster creative thinking, which will then be displayed at a STEAM showcase.
