El Observador

As Summer gets into full swing this 2016 a flurry of outdoor events arise in order to take advantage of the warm days and cool nights. The heat is here, the AC is blasting, and there’s a need to get out of the house and enjoy the longer days, maybe with ice cream, music or just the classic beach scenario.

In honor of summer season we have personally picked some of the best events in the Bay to mark on your calendar, whether it be an app, in your head, or just an good old fashioned 12-month kitty themed wall calendar.

There’s a lot going on, and a diverse amount of things to experience. Previously covered artists are having shows, great festivals and block parties are strewn around the peninsula. Mariachi, Hip-Hop and Jazz will sooth your soul. Food, lots of food will be had, and there’s more to it than the staple of BBQ. Some events are free, some are not, but they are all guaranteed to incite those feelings of summer, hopefully minus the sunburn nostalgia.

Whatever gets you dancing, singing, or just makes you smile this Summer be sure to check out all that is great in our guide.

Stay safe, and drink more water!
