By Raul Ray, Esq.
A decision by the Supreme Court on President Obama’s DAPA and Expanded DACA initiatives could be handed down as early as next week. The court’s current term, which started October 2015, will conclude at the end of this month.
If the court rules in favor of the Obama initiatives, it may take several weeks before eligible applicants can begin applying. On the other hand, if the court rules against DAPA/Expanded DACA or issues a decision that ends in a tie vote, then the programs will not go forward. However the fight for dignity and inclusion of all people in our society will certainly continue.
We will keep you apprised on the very latest news from the U.S. Supreme Court.
