The Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department presents the 10th annual Festival in the Park, Saturday, June 4, 2015 from 11 am – 3 pm at Hellyer County Park. This one-day event is a fun-filled health and recreation fair geared for people of all ages. Bring your family and friends as admission and parking is free.
The 10th annual celebration delivers a bigger line-up of attractions than previous years with a farmers market hosted by Jacobs Farm, two stages of entertainment, free nutrition education classes, a Kids Zone and tons of exhibitors.
The American Heart Association will again be on-site providing free hands-only CPR classes to all festival-goers, including workshops about nutrition and healthy living in honor of CPR awareness week.
The live entertainment on two stages includes music, demonstrations and dancing to inspire you to keep moving for a healthier lifestyle!
Festival-goers can make a commitment to getting fit by signing up for Santa Clara County Parks’ Healthy Trails, a FREE fitness challenge providing a fun and adventurous way to exercise and connect with nature as you explore miles and miles of spectacular Santa Clara County park trails.
Be sure to stop by the Univision radio booth for fun and games with KSOL and HOT 105.7FM radio stations. El Observador will also be on-site handing out newspapers.
There will be plenty of food trucks and drink available for purchase in the food court. Admission and parking are FREE!
