Of the many fruits of winning a championship, one of the top ones has to be meeting the President of the United States. The Warriors got that honor last Thursday, which was a little extra special considering the Dubs will be the final NBA Championship team to be greeted at the White House by President Barack Obama, who in his final year of his second term of his presidency.

The commander in chief is a huge basketball fan, and like a lot of other viewers of the game, he has become an admirer of Stephen Curry through the years. In fact, this wasn’t be the first time the two met at the White House, as Curry was there last winter for the President’s Malaria Initiative. In addition, the two also played golf together in the summer after the Warriors won the 2015 NBA title. In other news, the Warriors continue their NBA road trip playing the Portland Trail Blazers Friday at 7 pm, and Saturday they take on the LA Clippers at 5:30 pm.
